Funeral services for Ms. Creasey Mae Richardson will be held at 3 PM Sunday, August 2, 2026, at Trinity Baptist Church with interment in Cedar Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be 1:00 PM – 3 PM Sunday, August 2, 2026, at Trinity Baptist Church. John E. Stephens Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Creasey Mae Chamblee Richardson, 87 passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2026. She was a life long resident of Neshoba County. Creasey graduated from Zepher Hill High School where she enjoyed playing on the girls’ basketball team. As a young mother, Creasey worked at Wells Lamont. She later worked as a teller for The Citizens Bank. She enjoyed serving and building relationships with her customers in the community. Her greatest joys were her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, being outside working in her flower and vegetable gardens, cooking for her family and friends, and sewing. She was a very talented seamstress creating everything from clothes for her family, to formals/pageant dresses and quilts. Creasey was a member of Trinity Baptist Church where she sang in the choir, helped with VBS, and taught Youth Sunday School. She enjoyed being a part of LFC(Lights for Christ), making flower arrangements from her garden for the church sanctuary and being a part of all activities at Trinity. She is survived by her daughters Donita Stephens (Bill), Suzette Chunn (Mike), Tywonna Lovorn (Reggie) all of Philadelphia; grandchildren Jennifer Leigh Steele (Anthony), Hailey Myers (Trent), Eli Chunn (Madison), Sam Lovorn and Jack Lovorn; and great-grandchildren Mady Mae Myers, Charleigh Steele, Slade Myers, Caroline Steele, Darci Chunn, Roper Chunn and Mabree Chunn; sister-in-law June Richardson and brother-in-law Harold Richardson (Glenda); as well as a host of nieces and nephews and their families. Creasey is proceeded in death by her husband of 65 years, Willie Hays Richardson, her parents Charles Egbert and Ethel Mae Porter Chamblee, brothers, Alvin Egbert Chamblee, Eirtis Sylvester Chamblee, Virtis Lee Chamblee, Castle Huron Chamblee and sister, Addie Lee Chamblee White. Pallbearers are Bill Stephens, Mike Chunn, Reggie Lovorn, Eli Chunn, Sam Lovorn, Jack Lovorn, Anthony Steele, Trent Myers.
