A home -going service for Mr. Shelby Donald will be held at 2 PM on Sunday, February 6, 2022, at John E. Stephens Chapel with Bro. Michael Wells and Bro. Nels A. Norris officiating. Interment in New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be 12-2 PM Sunday, February 6, 2022, at John E. Stephens Chapel. John E. Stephens Chapel is in charge. Mr. Donald, 82, passed away Thursday, February 3, 2022, at his residence in Philadelphia surrounded by loved ones. He was self-employed and enjoyed working at his store, Grays Grocery, for several years. He loved and supported his children and grandchildren and he especially loved watching them play sports. He never met a stranger and loved all his friends he met along the way. He is preceded in death by his parents, Harris and Irene Donald; brother, Gene Donald; and sister-in-laws, Patsy Donald (Gilbert) and Mary Donald (Gene). He is survived by his wife, Patricia Hall Donald; his daughters, Terri Donald, and Tracy Donald Armstrong; his son, Jerry Donald; grandchildren, David Goforth (Kayde), Stacie White (Chad), Jaython Donald, Kyle Henderson (Cheyenne), Jace Henderson, and Hadley White (Aaron); great-grandsons, Mason Goforth, Charlie White, and Sammy White; brother, Gilbert Donald; sister, Ramona Adcock (Billy); and Brother-in-law, Mac Hall (Ann); and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are his grandsons, David Goforth, Jaython Donald, Kyle Henderson, Jace Henderson, and nephews, Mike Donald, and Jason Hall. Rest easy now, our daddy. Your work on Earth is done.
