Funeral service for Mrs. Sally Ann Sockey will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at Standing Pine Gym with Rev. Travis Willis and Deacon Williamson Isaac officiating. Interment will be in the Standing Pine Community Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 2 PM Monday, May 9, 2022 at the Standing Pine Gym. John E. Stephens Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Sockey, 50, passed away Thursday, May 5, 2022 at Rush Foundation Hospital in Meridian, MS. She was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church and enjoyed helping people cook, traveling and sewing. She is preceded in death by her parents, Odell Sockey and Rosaline Lewis Sockey; brothers, Drain Sockey and Wes Sockey. Survivors include her sister, Aline McMillan; brother, Dan Willis. Pallbearers are Clifton Jefferson, Eric Tubby, Robert Tubby, John Willis, Tony Anderson, Garrison Edwards, Mickey Polk, Daniel Bell.
