GRAVESIDE SERVICE FOR: MR. RICHARD W. JOHNSON JR. WILL BE HELD: 2 PM SATURDAY, APRIL 16, 2022 AT: SPRING CREEK CEMETERY NO VISITATION; Graveside service for Mr. Richard W. Johnson Jr. will be held at 2 PM Saturday, April 16, 2022 at Spring Creek Cemetery with Rev. John E. Stephens, Rev. Nels Norris and Rev. Jack Foster officiating. There will be no visitation. John E. Stephens Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Johnson, 92, was born in Union, MS but made his home in Philadelphia since 1987. He was a U. S. Army Veteran. He retired from Piccadilly Cafeteria where he worked as a chef for 32 l/2 years. He enjoyed spending time with his best friend, Wren. Preceded in death: Parents, Shorty and Annie Mae Johnson; Father and mother-in-law, Chester and Thelma Breedlove; Brothers-in-law, Morris Reagan, Lamar Mahaffey and Billy Rigsby; Sister, Annie Lois Reagan. Mr. Johnson is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Judy Breedlove Johnson of Philadelphia; Sister, Patsy Mahaffey of Union; Sister-in-law, Carolyn Rigsby; Friends, Lisa Williamson, John and Cindy Stephens. Pallbearers: Michael Hudson, Dusty Stephens, John E. Stephens, Jack Foster, Nells Norris, and Bryan Rigsby. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Gideons International.
