Funeral service for Mr. Melvin Ray Wilson, Sr. will be held 2 PM Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Pearl River Facility Building with interment in Old Canaan Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5 PM Friday, February 25, 2022 at Pearl River Facility Building. John E. Stephens Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Wilson, 64, passed away Thursday, February 24, 2022 at Choctaw Residential Center. Mr. Wilson is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Addison Tubby and Lecin Wilson; son, Melvin Ray Wilson, Jr.; sister, Patsy Tubby; brothers, Edwin Tubby and Harold Denson. Survivors: daughters, Nora Wilson; sons, Junaluska Wilson, Marvin Ray Wilson, Edison Wilson, Michael Ray Wilson; sisters, Laura Breedlove, Connie Goar; brother, Lefus Tubby, Sr.; 19 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren.
