MRS. JEFFERI LYNN WIGGINS

Funeral service for Mrs. Jefferi Lynn Wiggins will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, February 13, 2022, at Damascus Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Wayne McNeer officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 with the service immediately following at Damascus Free Will Baptist Church. John E. Stephens Chapel is in charge. Mrs. Wiggins, 74, passed away Thursday, February 10, 2022, at John C. Stennis Memorial Hospital in Dekalb, MS. She lived most of her life in Kemper Co. She was a member of Corinth Baptist Church. She worked at Van Zyverden and MS Tarp, and she was also a member of Damascus Volunteer Fire Department. Her hobbies were flowers, gardening, and camping. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jefferson Alexander Burkhalter and Robbie Edwina Chisolm Joiner; daughter, Michelle Carlisle; son, Dean Wiggins; brother, Donnie Joiner. Survivors include husband Gene Wiggins of Kemper; daughters, Vicki Jones (Rafe) and Lisa Stovall both of Kemper; son, Justin Wiggins (Katelyn) of Lauderdale; (7) grandchildren; (4) great-grandchildren; (1) nephew. Pallbearers: Wayne Wiggins, Wilmer Wiggins, Chester Goudy, Bud Lang, Roger Hagan, Sonny Russell Honorary Pallbearer: Rafe Jones
