Funeral service for Mr. Eddie Evans will be held 2 PM Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at John E. Stephens Chapel with Rev. John E. Stephens officiating. Interment will be in Good Hope Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 PM Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at John E. Stephens Chapel. Mr. Evans, 72, passed away Saturday, June 4, 2022, at his home. He lived most of his life in the Sandtown Community. He was an avid Ole Miss fan. He loved baseball, classic cars, singing and listening to Elvis music. He is preceded in death by his parents, Edgar Verdell Evans Sr. and Bertha Mae Davidson Evans; sister, Diane Evans; brother, Jerry Evans; nephew, Bobby Joe Brancaccio. Survivors include his children, Scooter Bryan, Angie Norris (Anthony), Verity Stewart, Valerie Evans, Traye Evans, Betty Allen (Quinn); sisters, Kay Brancaccio, and Vickie Robertson; (12) grandchildren Colby, Adam (Boo), Emma, Logan, Jerame, Kanah, Shaun, Dalton, Amie, Briana, Hunder, Elliana; (6) great-grandchildren, Nickolas, Lorelai, McKenna, McKynzie, Spencer Grace, Ian; (7) nieces and nephews, Christina Burbank, Kelly Munday, Jesika Stuart, Ashley Lidia Liddell, Christian Robertson, Melissa St. Dennis, Vickie Skeen, and a host of great nieces and nephews.
