MR. BOBBY GENE TUBBY Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Graveside service for Mr. Bobby Gene Tubby will be held 10 AM Friday, June 24, 2022 at Holy Rosary Cemetery with Father Bob Goodyear officiating. Visitation will begin at 10 AM Thursday, June 23, 2022 at the home of Brenda Stephens, 592 West Tucker Circle, Philadelphia, MS. John E. Stephens Chapel in charge of arrangements. Mr. Tubby, 66, passed away Saturday, June 18, 2022 at his residence. He was born in Chicago, IL moving to Oklahoma, Rhode Island and living in the Tucker Community of Neshoba County for the past 20 years. He obtained a bachelor's degree from MS State University. He was a retired computer analyst and retired as manager marketing analyst with Pearl River Resort. His enjoyed playing golf and tennis. Mr. Tubby was a member of International Honor Society in Economics, Omicron Delta Epsilon and Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Preceded in death: Parents, Finis Tubby and Vivian Steve Tubby; Sisters, Sandra Tubby, Julia Yazzie Tubby; Brothers, Jerry Tubby, Melvin Tubby; Brother-in-law, Mike D. White. Survivors: Son, Ferris Tubby; Sisters, Gloria Tubby White, Bernita Reynolds (Jerry), Rita Mattera, Brenda Stephens, Darlene Patrick (Mark); Brother, Kevin Tubby; (7) Grandchildren; (1) Great-Grandchild. Pallbearers: Demondo Mingo, Darren Tubby, Sonny Mattera, Grant Ben, Alan Martin, Michael Denson, David Steel and Andrew Steel.
