Funeral services for Mr. Alvin Williams will be held at 2 PM Friday, December 3, 2021 at Pearl River Baptist Church with Rev. Ricky Thompson, Sr. officiating. Interment will be in Bogue Chitto Community Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 4 PM Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at Pearl River Baptist Church. John E. Stephens Chapel Funeral Services in charge. Mr. Williams, 70, passed away on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at Choctaw Residential Center in Choctaw, MS. He was a member of Jesus New Covenant Church and enjoyed fishing, hunting, garden and yard work, reading his bible and going to church. He is preceded in death by his wife, Susan Bell Williams; daughters, Mary Ann Jefferson and Virginia Ann Willis; sons, Richard Willis and Willie Ervin Willis; parents, Coy Williams and Leona Shoemake; sisters, Sina Marie Willis and Irene King; brothers, Steve Williams and Raymond Williams. Survivors include his daughters, Renata Willis, Melanie Stephens, Karen Thomas and Linda Steve; sons, James K. Willis and Earl Willis, Jr.; sister, Laurene Chapman; brothers, Welford Williams and Bobby Lee Williams, Sr.; a host of grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers are Greg Tubby, Ricky Orduno, Ricky Willis, Keyshawn Nickey, Scott Payne, Eric Nickey, Gaylon Williams, Arral Frazier, Simeon Willis, Kyle Thompson.
