Funeral service for Mr. Herman Ray Willis will be held at 2 PM Thursday, November 9, 2023 at John E. Stephens Chapel with Bro. Thomas Ben officiating. Interment will be in Phillips Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 AM-8 PM Wednesday, November 8, 2023 and from 10 AM-2PM Thursday, November 9, 2023 at John E. Stephens Chapel. Mr. Willis, 65, passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2023 at Choctaw Health Center. He was a member of the Beaver Dam Stickball team and Baptist by Faith. Herman Ray Willis is preceded in death by his parents, Harrison and Ruby (Bell) Willis; grandparents, Cohen and Molly Sissy (Coleman) Willis, Nicholas and Cleddie (Ben) Bell; brothers, Gary Hayes Willis, Sr., Basil Harris Willis, Timothy D. Willis; sister, Sandra Renee Willis; uncles, A.J. Willis, R.J. Willis, Cecil Willis, William Roger Bell, Sr., William Franklin Bell and Lindy D. Bell; aunts, Una (Willis) John, Arlene (Willis) Bell and Dorthy (Bell) McMillan; sons, infant baby boy John and Latham Wayne Jim. Herman leaves behind in God’s care his daughter, Raylynn Willis and granddaughter, Jasmine Renee Willis of Albuquerque, NM; brother, Jerome W. Willis and sister, Lois J. Keats both of Choctaw, MS; nieces, Natasha L. Willis, Shannon J. Keats, Karla M. Keats, Sydney T. Tubby all of Choctaw, MS; nephews, Gary H. “Sonny” Willis, Jr., Derek W. Willis, Jeremy D.
